Types of insulated glass units

Single-chamber

Two glass panes and one chamber filled with noble gas — the standard in window joinery.

Double-chamber

Three panes and two chambers — better thermal and acoustic insulation, recommended for energy-efficient homes.

Triple-chamber

Four panes and three chambers — the highest insulation, a solution for passive houses.

Security units

Packages with P2A or P4A class glass — increased security for your home and business.

Patterned & satin

Textured or frosted glass in the unit — privacy without losing light, e.g. for bathrooms and doors.

With curved glass

Our unique speciality — a thermally bent pane sealed with a flat one. For historic restoration and premium joinery.

Insulated curved glass units

As one of only a few manufacturers in Poland we seal thermally bent glass into insulated units. These units go into the restoration of historic windows and doors, furniture and premium joinery — we handle orders from all over the country.

How an insulated unit is made

  1. Package configuration

We select the number of chambers, glass type (low-E, acoustic, security) and dimensions for the specific joinery.

  2. Cutting & preparation

Panes are cut to size and the spacer frame is prepared with a molecular sieve that absorbs moisture.

  3. Sealing

The package is filled with argon or krypton and closed with a two-stage seal: butyl inside, polysulphide or silicone outside.

  4. Inspection & dispatch

We check the tightness and quality of every unit before dispatch — a hermetic package does not fog up inside.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a single and double-chamber unit?

A single-chamber unit has 2 panes and 1 gas-filled chamber, a double-chamber one — 3 panes and 2 chambers. The double-chamber unit provides better thermal and acoustic insulation and is recommended for energy-efficient homes.

Can insulated glass units be curved?

Yes, as one of only a few manufacturers in Poland we seal curved panes into insulated units. We combine a bent pane with a flat one — perfect for the restoration of historic windows.

How long do insulated glass units last?

Properly made and installed units last 20–30 years without losing their insulating properties. We use a two-stage seal of butyl and polysulphide.

Why does an insulated unit not fog up inside?

The package is hermetically sealed and the spacer frame contains a molecular sieve that absorbs residual moisture, so no water vapour condenses between the panes.

Do you make insulated units to size for old windows?

Yes — we produce insulated units to size for existing joinery, including non-standard shapes. For historic arched windows we offer packages with thermally bent glass.
